에멀젼법에 의한 $TiO_2$ 미립자의 합성 및 광흡수 특성

Synthesis of $TiO_2$ Powder by Emulsion Method and Photo Absorption Properties
ABSTRACT
TiO2 powder was prepared by emulsion method. TiCl4 was used as a starting material. TiO(OH)2 was precipitated with NH4OH due to removal of Cl- TiO(NO3)2 aqueous solution was made by dissolving TiO(OH)2 with HNO3 Kerosene paraffin oil and span 80 were used to prepare organic phase. Various concentrations of TiO(NO3)2 aqueous solutions were emulsified with organic phase and dropeed into kerosene heated at 160-17$0^{circ}C$ to evaporate water in emulsion. As-dried powders were calcined at 400~100$0^{circ}C$ for 2 h, Anatase was formed at 17$0^{circ}C$ , Rutile began to form at $700^{circ}C$ and became single phase above 90$0^{circ}C$. The specific surface area of the powder prepared in 0.1M aqueous solution was 141m2/g after calcination at 50$0^{circ}C$. As the concentration of TiO(NO3)2 aqueous solution and calcined temperature increased the specific surface are decreased. UV spectrum of powders calcined at 50$0^{circ}C$ with various concentration showed absorbance in the vicinity of 380nm
